The concert began with a prayer led by Rev M Praburaj, presbyter CSI Shanthi Cathedral. Rev. Dr F Anil Kumar, treasurer KTC welcomed the gathering. Rev. Dr Solomon Benjamin EMS liaison officer for East Asia Mission, led the youth team introduced the choir group. The concert was directed by a well known director Mr. Uwe Schüssler. The President of the German part of Basel Mission Rev. Dieter Bullard Werner and his wife Rev. Nancy Bullard Werner had accompanied the group. The youth group from Esslingen sang classical concerts and contemporary songs which included compositions of Johan Sebastian Bach, Dietrich Buxtehude, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and others. Rev. Dr J B Saldhana, PRO of the Roman Catholic Mangalore Diocese and the Parish Priest St. Francis Xavier Church, Bejai and Rt Rev. Hemachandra Kumar, Bishop CSI-KSD shared greetings on this occasion. Rev. Dr H M Watson delivered his presidential address. Christian Music lovers from all denominations from Mangalore and Udupi districts attended the programme and gave a thunderous standing ovation to the incredibly talented youth choir. The programme was compered by Rev. Dr Sandeep Theophil.
