Installation of Rev. Ferdinand Kittel's Statue

The newly installed statue of Rev. Ferdinand Kittel was unveiled by the great grand daughter of Ferdinand Kittel on 12 th November 2022 at the KTC Campus, Mangalore. Mr. Friedrich Birgelen, Deputy Consul General, Federal Republic of Germany, Bangalore was the chief guest. Prof. Dr. Viveka Rai presented a reflection on the life, work & contributions of Rev. Ferdinad Kittel. Mr. Yves Patrick Meyer, great great grandson of Kittel, Germany, Mr. Jan Friedrich Stoermer, Germany, Rt. Rev. Dr. C.L. Furtado, Former Principal-KTC, Bishop-KSD, Dr. Gudrun Lӧwner, Professor, UTC, Prof. Dr. A.V. Navada, Kannada Scholar, Mr. Naveen D’Souza, Corporator, Sri M.P Sreenath, President, DK Dist. Kannada Sahithya Parishath were the Guests of Honour. The programme was presided over by Rev. Dr. H.M. Watson, Principal-KTC.
